Kevin’s Bio
Kevin grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania and attended Pennsylvania State University, where he achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing. He currently resides in Wilmington, Delaware with his wife and three active children. Although he sometimes finds himself working on location, he mainly creates his art from the studio in the basement of his home. Kevin has appeared in Delaware Valley
Kevin usually expresses himself through oil paintings and pencil drawings, but he has also enjoyed experimenting with watercolor, charcoal, pastel, and pen and ink; as well as spray paint, which he has found most effective for the yearly Vacation Bible School 24’ x 8’ murals he has painted for his church. Kevin finds that a representational and impressionistic style best conveys his perspective. He sees beauty in the details of the mundane – parts of everyday life which are usually overlooked or taken for granted. Kevin likes to slow down and observe the reflection of light and colors in everyday objects and situations. He is particularly compelled to express through his work how man’s industrial
